1979 f150 I6 Oil Pan help
Hi everyone!
Thank for all the help last time guys. I have a 1979, f150 300 I6 4x4, with a manual transmission.
I am now working on my oil pan, which wasn't to hard to remove. I need to remove it because the gasket was leaking and flattened and burned (?). My oil pan itself has some pretty good dents from the previous owner which probably caused the leaks. I bought a new pan and I am wondering if I can grind the rivets off of the oil tube, drill a hole and rivet it back on? Does it need to be pressed in? Do I need a new dipstick and oil tube?
Thank you All!
