Got oil problems

Got oil problems

I have a 86 f150 with a 300 inline 6 motor. the truck sat for 4 months and now I have oil coming up out of my dipstick tube. is this a sign of a bad oil pump? also the gage dose not work so I cant tell if its the pump by looking at that. ANY HELP WOLUD BE GREAT.

What's the oil level? If it's overfilled it may have gas or coolant in it. It could be a plugged PCV valve.

It might be that the engine isn't being vented to the intake. If pressure builds up in the oil pan it could force the oil out any outlet there is. Change the PCV and check the hoses to make sure they are clear including the other valve cover that pulls air from the intake through the engine base.

Yep, you're right. there are still two hoses though to vent the engine.
