Ok, so I am running the stock shocks up front with the cc844 springs and they seem like they are bottoming out? I took the truck for a ride on a rough road and it just seemed like the stock shocks didn't have enough travel. I looked up replacement for f150 4wd and the fronts said 14-5/8" extended travel. F250 2wd shows 15" extended travel and f250 4wd shows 14-1/2" extended travel. What size shocks should I be purchasing to replace my stock shocks now that I technically have a 2" lift?

The coils really helped stiffen up the ride... Doesn't ride like an F150 anymore. My shocks are well past their point and since they don't dampen enough anymore due to the added lift I can feel every bump in the road. I took it on some washed out roads and it was brutal. Very harsh/stiff ride. Need some decent shocks to absorb the impact so I don't feel it in my seat. Not teeth chattering, but darn close on washed out roads. 5mph is the fastest I would dare drive on them roads.
For a pavement prowler truck it is a great way to spend $70 bucks... If I was doing any off roading I would go with a lift kit with not so harsh of a spring rate.

Managed to grab a truck canopy for $250. No leaks and windows all work. Tested it out this weekend in pouring rain and it held up great!
I bought some wrangler 32x11.5-15's for summer and some cooper M/S 31x10.5-15's with studs for winter. I should be good to go!
Waiting another month and then will throw the 31's on there. Should fill the wheel wells a little better than the little 235/75/15's there now.
