f 150 help

f 150 help

i have a 91 f 150 5.0 e.f.i, it starts but after about ten or so minutes it dies and then u have to wait two hours before it will start again

You have one of three ignition parts going dead. Either the coil or the ignition module or the ignition pickup inside the distributor. It's most likely the ignition pickup inside the distributor, but you have to pull the distributor and disassemble it to replace this. Or just go to Oreillys and get a new distributor, don't use a rebuilt distributor they are junk. You could try the coil and ignition module first, beings they are easier to replace, there's always a chance it could be one of them.
