ive heard the d44s were pretty wimpy when it came to bigger tires. but then again they only designed them for daily driving, not off road beatings!

The only thing weaker than a 44TTB is a '97+ CV contraption. Dana 60s or go home broke.

Nice, friend of mine has one of those "heavy half" as I call it F-250s. Semi float rear, 44HD TTB, and an AOD, yet still says F-250 on the badge.

I also like the light bar setup. Might do something like that for a '79 of mine. Although I've been told if I want to go big baller, need triple tubes...

Well, got it all installed and buttoned up! just need to change the doors, bumper, fix the rest of the rust, and paint it! Not too far away from what I want! Enough with the talk, on with the photos!

if i can come across a relitively rust free bed for the right price, i'll jump on it, but it'll stay flatbed for the rest of its life most likely...

Thanks! it's just a rust bucket! lol!
Side note, o2 sensors are a MUST HAVE on S/D intakes. I intalled one today and let me say throttle response is better, starts easier, and doesnt pass as much water or whatever out.
