1990 f150 smog pump help?

Im replacing my smog pump on my 1990 f150 and just cant get it out. It wont budget an inch. On the bolt in front their is like a space which allows the pump to move side to side. But i cant get the damn thing out. Ive tried everything Ive used penetrating oil a crowbar and even heat! It hasn't done a thing and it still wont move. Is their some secret bolt that im missing? All that i thought that holds it in is two bolts and then undo the hoses. Is their a bolt that holds that spacer onto the mounting bracket? If you need pictures ill get them but please help me!

PS. I have the 4.9 six cylinder.

if i am not mistaken there is only two bolts holding. Really u dont need the smog pump if u cant get it off just get another belt smaller then what u got and just bypass the smog pump itself.

Pics would help.

I have seen some that have 2 short bolts on the pivot instead of 1 long one. Don't know if that is your issue, I can't picture what is going on.

It is illegal to unhook or disable in any way the smog pump or any of the other emissions components.

Yes, it's illegal but you won't have a problem till it's time for inspection - if you even have inspections in your locality. However, without the auxiliary air you may plug your cats.

x2, we ran into the issue with our f-250, when we found out the pump was screwed, now we are just running open headers without any exhaust for now. but there should only be the bolts holding it, serpentine belt, and the pump hoses. after those are all unhooked you should be able to pull the thing out.
