advice for lifting 95 f150!
hey guys im new here but would like to jump right in to asking some questions. 33s on a 6 inch suspension lift, anybody have any good pictures? or is it rediculous? i really dont want to have to go with 35s because i only have a 4.9(300) 5 speed and 3.55 gears. i really dont want to have to re gear due to cost and time. should i just suck it up and get a 4 inch lift and 33s? im mostly going to be doing highway driving it will see some dirt and mud for hunting season. please post some pics of yalls lifted 92-96 F150s. the set up im wanting is a BDS 6 inch lift, 15x10 MT classic 2s and 33x12.50 superswamper tsl radials. one more thing, will i need to lengthen my drive shafts? is there going to be any problem with the angling of the shafts that i should know about?
thanks for any help advice or pics yall post

4 fits 33s pefect we gor a 94 on a 4 inch with 35s n got room
driveshafts should be fine i always run a axle shim in the rear to slightly angle the rear up just for insurance
if ur going to lift check all your balljoints steering ect and replace ur universaljoints just so u have no problems remember now u have more rolling mass so more strain on moving parts.
4.9 m5 with 3.55 can handle 38s no problem my buddy had an 89 with 6 supenchen 3 body with 38 15.50 drove 65 down the highway no problem it got a little slower on acceleration but didnt stain the engine they are tough the only actual upgrades we did to the truck was bearings balljoints and a centerforce 2 clutch/pressureplate that was only to be on the safe side n he had it 4 years as adaily driver n the guy who bought it from him last year is still runnin it everyday n the trucks got over 200k on it

What are you trying to accomplish? The truck will do what you described with NO lift and stock tires. And it'll drive better, get better gas mileage, and be safer with no lift. If you just have to have 33s, they'll fit with no lift. Just space the front bumper forward ~3/4" (a lug nut on each bumper bolt). I'm running a 4.9L with 3.08 gears & 33s, but I have a granny 1st so I can still take off.
