Does your truck currently have power lumbar seats?
The Ex wiring is pretty simple: power & ground to the door switch, then 6 wires (2 per motor) going from the switch to the chair. But you'll have a hard time mounting the switch on your door panel, so the Ex may not be the best donor. Try to find chairs with external switches (ON the chair), like early Crown Vics. If you peel the Ex upholstery, you might find a spot designed to hold the switches, but you'll have to get the right switch/bezel combo to mount them.

Yes, my current seating the bench has the power lumbar.
Here are pics of the Explorer seats which I already have in my possession. The seats came with all the connectors, but fitting it to my truck is where the creativity will come into play.
