351 Motor Help

i have gotten a FREE!!! 351W i think its a 70's motor and was wondering what is Hp and Tq on it cause an wiki it says 290hp Gross (i was wondering is that the HP at crank) an it does not tell me the Tq So if someone will help me im only really interested in the Tq anyway so if someone will give me the Torque numbers that would be great

Side note:
I am also going to rebuild it with a kit like this and was wondering if it will bring up to Hp and Tq Ratings with maybe a .030 or .040 bore

Good lord, someone's touchy. According to http://www.fordclassics.com/ford90degreeengines.html
the most HP the 351W ever got was in 1969 and was 290 HP, but since yours is from the 70s it wouldn't have that much HP. I'm still searching for the actual ratings, but it would help greatly to know what year the motor is from. Try using this to find out:

Its only correct if its a 1969 motor. Try to use the part numbers to see what year it is.

What difference does it make what you think the HP and TQ is?

You have to know exactly what you have, and the ratings are going to be different with every little change from stock.

And the rating method sometimes changes from year to year so the rated HP and TQ change even though the engine itself doesn't
