need help! about to blow it up!

i am about to pull my hair out. i have a 1989 f-150 with the 5.0 v8 efi in it. it is runnin like total garbage. idles ok not to rough and will sluggishly rev up. when you put the truck in gear and let the clutch out it has no power what so ever. it will hardly pull itself without killing the engine. i have replaced the plugs wires, plugs, dist. and rotor button, fuel filter and even the cat converter. someone told me it being clogged could cause problems.

any suggestions would be great! i am just bout ready to lite it on fire.

Need to check fuel pressure. That truck has several fuel pumps. One in each tank and one on the frame. The one of the frame provides the necessary pressure to run the engine, the others just pump the fuel out of the tank. If the one in the tank is bad, the truck will idle, but have no power and spit and sputter under load. If the frame pump is bad, it won't run at all.

Replace the Throttle Position Sensor with a Motorcraft only part and it should run right.
