66 F100 headlight switch interchangeable with?
I am in URGENT need of a headlight switch for my 66 F100, we have a cruise night TOMORROW NIGHT, and if my headlights wont work, I wont be able to go. Probem is the town I live in has a limited supply of parts, is the headlight switch for this truck interchangeable with other years, models, even mustangs? Would there be a slim chance that a NAPA or other parts store would have something? I have access to a 68 cougar if its the same, which I doubt, but who knows. Any help would be greatly appreciated, off all the times for the switch to go.

My son got one for his 64 Jeep at Auto zone or O'rileys. I think any pull on push off would work as long as it has the correct number of terminals.
Btw his head light issue wasn't the on/off switch his was the hot wire to the dimmer on the floor. Re-connected the wire and good as sorta new.
Just a thought.

The catalogs at these sites might list the interchange, but for now, you could just install jumper wires.
