flooding problems
I have a 89 F150 xl with EFI with a flooding problem i tried to test (key off, key on no start) it but i keep getting the no connection. I think its a sincere but i don't know which one it is. Its also running rich. The first time starting it, its fine but after running for a wail it will. Some times it doesn't want to start but simply holding the gas a little it starts up fine but may flood. what could it most likely be? Thanks
thats one of my thoughts to i added seafoam in to my tank and it helped but still didnt stop it so i added some injector cleaner and just have to wait to see what happens next i did pick up some mils. but very little
ok so i even changed the spark plugs and wires (which was badly needed) but i still have the problem of it flooding the check engine like will come on (it doesn't flash) and the injector cleaner doesn't seem to be helping. any thoughts? Thanks
oh and as i was changing the spark plugs and wires i have one left over it doesn't look like the rest of them and i polled each one off at a time i can' t figure out where it goes? is it an exhauster one by chance?

one what? wire? did you Chang the one going from the center the distributor cap to the coil?
ya i pull them all the spark plug wires off one by one and match each one and replaced it but this one didn't match any off the distributor cap, nor can i find one any where were it might go. it looks normal on one end but the other has a short rubber covering but doesn't cover all of the metal that sticks out half inch maybe. Idk if that describes it very well but thats how i can think to put it. i looked at the box they came in and it didn't have a list of what wires came in it.
