flooding problems

I have a 89 F150 xl with EFI with a flooding problem i tried to test (key off, key on no start) it but i keep getting the no connection. I think its a sincere but i don't know which one it is. Its also running rich. The first time starting it, its fine but after running for a wail it will. Some times it doesn't want to start but simply holding the gas a little it starts up fine but may flood. what could it most likely be? Thanks

Pull the codes.
Whatever is turning on the MIL light is setting codes.
You need to retrieve them.

ya i pull them all the spark plug wires off one by one and match each one and replaced it but this one didn't match any off the distributor cap, nor can i find one any where were it might go. it looks normal on one end but the other has a short rubber covering but doesn't cover all of the metal that sticks out half inch maybe. Idk if that describes it very well but thats how i can think to put it. i looked at the box they came in and it didn't have a list of what wires came in it.

It may be a second coil wire for a different distributor/coil setup. That way, they can have a single part number for multiple applications and/or multiple years.
