After I got my project truck (the 95 Flareside) I found that the steel tubes that support the glass steps were rotted out on one side. I removed all the hardware, and was planning on taking the tubes down to my local metal shop and see if they can fab up some replacements...($$$)....but before I do that, I thought I'd check around and see if anyone else out there in cyber world had replacements for them. I did a search on side steps ford 1992-96, but all I seem to find are the nerf bully bars. On the F;areside, the bed of the truck is a scootch lower than the rocker panels, and are designed to flow into the glass steps. I think it would look goofy to throw some oval or round nerf bars on, because they would be lower than the bed.
Anyone out there found some replacements? I've looked at eBay, craigslist and google, but only find the nerf bars.

 

did you try lmctruck? i've got an 02 so i'm not sure what they have, but i think they have a dedicated catalog specific to that era.
