First time I have had to work on motor. 96 F150 2wd. 185,xxxmiles. I was replacing distributor cap/rotor and the screw broke that holds the cap on. Plus I am replacing gasket on side plate. I am trying to remove the distributor and have become stuck. I got the "clip" off but it will still not pull out. Is there a pin or allen bolt stillholding it? I noticed a hole below distributor housing on the block but was not able to get an allen wrench in it?? Please help, truck is dead without help and need truck tomorrow.

got the distributor out, just needed a little tug, now on to removing the coil out of the way to get side plate off. any tips would be appreciated.

 

Should be two or three bolts holding it onto the block down low...lemme dig out some pics, good thing i took plenty when i swapped engines.
