Noooooo! EFI smites carb all day.

What did you all test, and what did you find?

Fuel pressure, either tested or replaced TPS, TFM, IAC, cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, fuel pump on the rail. Having a shop test the EGR and vaucuum system as I reached my limit and was about to turn it into a bonfire.

No word from the shop yet.

I'm where you were months ago. I bought an '86 with a 302 EFI for my daughter and plan on doing just about everything you have done and am very interested in your progress.

Well we get the truck back today $600 later including the tow cost. Shop had a hell of a time and they say it was an intake gasket leak so we went ahead and replaced the IAC at the same time. Could have gone new intake and carb for that amount but will see what she does from here.

This is eating into my budget for another project I am working on so I want it out of trouble for a while.
