Spit and Sputter

Ok The truck : 95 f150 standard cab, 300-I6, 5 speed

The Problem: when i first start out in first the truck falls on its face when i get going a little farther a cleas alittle but still sputters then when it finally gets up to speed it only spits and sputters past 1/4 throttle .... if i push the pedal down any further it runs like its getting no spark or no fuel let up and it clears up

What ive replaced: ignition coil (msd street fire)
Autolite pro wires
Autolite platnium plugs
Cap and rotor back in november
Fuel filter back in november

Any ideas guys ..any help is aprrciated

Could be lotsa stuff. Error code scans. A wild guess would be your MAP sensor. Clean you IAC also. Usually if you disconnect the IAC while at warm idle, and it doesn't try to stall, it's pooched.

No MAP? Then clean your MAF sensor w/ MAF sensor cleaner or Electronic contact cleaner (don't touch element w/ fingers). IAC's on air intake'/drivers side, looks like this:http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=39

Check for vacuum leaks, Put some good fuel cleaner in the tank and run for a few hours, and repair any faults found in the codes.

Mine's a bit more dramatic. What's your base timing set at? But right now my money's on low fuel pressure. Error codes scans & Fuel pressure test would help greatly. Save a lot of grief! Why waste time guessing & wondering.

I changed the 02 sensor, fuel filter, and checked all wires and plug-ins , and im running 93 octane in it now, the fuel filter was dirty but not all that bad ... havent pulled codes yet the local advance and autozone plus monroe muffler cant check OBD1 which is what i have soo... im still lookin and with my work schedule.... it sucks oo and ive tryed just about every injector cleaner on the shelp as well .... just trying to elminate possibilties
