95 150 4x4 front end problems

I know this truck needs lower ball joints . The tie rods and center link feel and look fine . The front wheel bearings are fine . when in 4x4 the truck really sqeaks and acts like it is bound up . Front tires look like drag slicks and I'm hoping the lower joints will take care of the fron end shimmy . It sounds and fells like wheel bearing are bad , but I have had them apart and they are fine . What else should I be looking for ? The ol girl has got 217,000 on it ! I'm sure it needs a little attention .

Thankyou

Don't just replace bottom joints, replace all 4 at the same time. Also instead of wasting time go ahead and put in you pivot bushings and radius arm bushings. With that many miles thats the least you can do for her. Also find some dual-axis alignment bushings and get somebody that knows what they are doing to set the camber and caster.

Thanks guys !

Would you happen to know or have a part # for the socket for the front axle nut . I was told the 4 prong was the right one , but mine is a flat sided nut with no slots . The parts guy at the store does not know what we need . It looks to be some kind of a thin wall socket because clearence is tight .

Thanks again
