94 5.0 EFI questions

Im buying a 94 F150 with the 5.0 EFI, Im wondering is it the same motor as the 94 mustang 5.0? I want to get some long tube headers and just want to build up some muscle for her. It has 35 inch tires and is just plain a monster! im 6' tall and the truck hood is about level with my eyes. Plus what tranny is most likely in this truck im hoping its the E40d but I dont know, how would i look to see what one it is.

It is very similar with many common parts, but has a different cam and intake to make low end torque and not high end revs.

94 was the first year for the lighter duty 4R70w as an option behind the 302, but it could easily have the E4OD if someone spent the bit more coin. Easy way to check not knowing if the door jam sticker is valid anymore after an engine/trans swap is to go under and count the pan bolts. 20 for the E4OD, and 14 for the 4R70w.
