1993 F-150 I-6 missing and bucking and 1/2 throttle
I have had this happen once before the last 2 weeks but it seems to keep coming back. It doesn't seem to matter if it is cold or warm and there is no real consistency in when it happens. At 1/4 throttle it runs fine I don't get any sputtering or missfiring. And at full throttle it seems to just over power whatever is going on. At 1/2 throttle everything just shakes. It feels like it is running on 2 cylinders. No power. Also today I thought I smelled gas after this happened like it was flooded? I was going to change the plugs and wires but I doubt that is what it is. The truck has 86000 miles on it if that helps. I shot a few videos today so I think you can hear it. Please tell me what to check?

Like Filmy said I'd replace your fuel pump and I'd double check plugs and plug wires since they're cheap. Also do your cap and rotor while you're at it. I had a little sputtering in my acceleration and replacing my cap/rotor/plugs/wires just the other day got rid of it.
Well it happens with both tanks so I was thinking that wasn't it. I would say fuel filter but it is so random I doubt that is it. Plugs and wires look OK. I think this is more sensor related. I tried to read the codes but I do not understand the blips on the voltmeter in the video above.

I did a self test. The voltmeter is just replacing the check engine light as my light is burned out.
