ok, so i dont know anything about vehicles, but i guess i have a 1barrel carb thats on a straight 6 300 motor. my friend said i need new carb, so im wondering how much they costs. not wanting to buy a used one really, want to get a new one. i have 84 f150 and the guy i got it from said the motor was just put in, but he didnt know what exact vehicle it come out of, so what should i serach for when looking for carb. can't search autozone,advance auto etc; cause theyhave you enter a vehicle and this wasnt the original motor, although it could of came from another 84 truck. i dont know.please help me out guys

 

Yeah, I think we decided that the PO used a newer engine block, but changed out the EFI for your old carb setup. Meaning that you can check carb prices online for your application. Example - VatoZone: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...ext=carburetor
