i have posted previously about my truck. it only have the rear tank. front tank was missing when bought. the gauge works half *** and you have to guess on the gas. im gonna be fixing the problem here this week. would just buying a new sending unit fix it. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...&parentId=49-0 or would i be better off buying a new full tank assembly from autozone for about 300? http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...&parentId=49-0 if i buy the sending unit, would i need to buy a new float and everything also? thanks for the help in advance guys!

 

Chances are the float is the only problem,they get cracks and fill with fuel and act weird.

 

know a good place to buy a float? cant find any on advance or autozones sites
