Im looking into buying/installing a leveling kit on my 88. Im not to worried about installing it. Has anyone bought a leveling kit for these trucks off the net or know of a good site to order one from?

no, not exactly but I do know you shouldn't pay more than $80-$90.

i wouldnt recommend a leveling kit, these TTB axles are to picky for those. buy new springs and a axle drop kit.

Yeah, I was advised not to do a leveling kit because they can cause alignment issues. I just went with a 2.5" lift. I know Superlift makes leveling coils for our trucks, though, and I think they run around $120. Some people run the leveling coils with no problem, but most people seemed to not advise them.

thanks for the input. im not sure of my suspension package that is on it, it has two shocks and a spring (my model is the "custom" model). So my best bet is to buy new longer coils and shocks? Anyone else have any experience with a leveling kit for these trucks? I would be getting the leveling kit for free, should i try my luck and hope for the best that it doesnt cause problems with the ttb?

Mine has the dual shocks too, I think its part of the handling package I have but I'm not sure. If you're gettin the leveling kit for free, I'd try it out and see how it does on your truck. If it does cause problems, you can just remove it and you wouldn't have lost any money.
