Front Springs on 93 F250
Front Springs on 93 F250
Well from 17 years of abuse as a plow the front springs on my F250 are worn to the point that when I lift the plow my front end is sitting on the bump stops. I'm going to just deal with the terrible ride for winter as I can't afford to have it out of commission for another 2-4 weeks while I wait for springs to arrive and then install. So when spring rolls around I'm going to do the spring swap my self since I am not wanting to spend thousands of dollars to have them installed by a shop.
Since the truck is a full time plow and is required to hold so much weight on the front I've decided to upgrade to a set of 1 ton springs on the front if I can get some.
So now the real question:
Where can I buy a set of 1 ton springs for a 93? I have checked LMC truck and they only sell 3/4 ton springs. I am going to check the local Bumper to Bumper and see what they can do but I can't find the springs in their online catalog either. I would prefer to buy a new set since they will be abused and I can't afford to have them fail mid winter.
Any recommendations for places to look would be awesome. Thanks for reading.
