95 F150 Pressure Switch circuit failure open

Hi, I just replaced my TPS sensor and now receive a obd 1 code 62 --AXOD 4/3 Pressure Switch Circuit Failed Open. Can't seem to find any info in the book. Help Pkease, Truck wil not turn over now.

It is 5.0 automatic. After replacing the tps the truck started. I moved it. turned off engine then it would only start if petal was to the floor. Then drove it a up and down the road. And turned off the engine. After that it would not start the engine turns over but nothing more, Is it possible that I need to reset the computer to erase all codes then if it starts drive truck around.

That code indicates an internal failure in the transmission.
Reset the PCM and retest. If it shows up again then there are two possibilities: an internal problem with the tranny or an external problem with the wire harness. Neither has squat to do with the TPS.

Thanks it has to be the wire harness if it shows up again. I'll reset the PCM tomorrow. Trans was fine before, but I might have messed up the harness some way.

Don't attempt to "reset the PCM" - it won't fix anything, and could make diagnosis more difficult. The AXOD is a front-wheel-drive car transmission. You've looked up the wrong code definition. Follow the links in these captions:
