93 codes 63 & 81

Hi, I'm new to this board. I've owned this 93 F150 302 since 96. The check engine light is on but when I'm on the gas the check engine light is off. The codes are 63 throttle position circuit fault and 81 air diverter solenoind fault. Any ideas before I start replacing sensors? Thanks in advance.

Just make sure it's not connection problems & check for voltage at the connector w/ key on.

Thanks, connections are tight but guess i'll have to back probe the connectors and take some voltage readings.

You should find some more-descriptive code definitions before proceeding. Those are pretty vague. You need to know what the "fault" is. Voltage higher than expected? Shorted to ground/power? Out of range? The air diverter solenoid has several names: TAD, AIRD, 2ndry air downstream... Follow the link in this caption for 2 lists of code definitions, and Google up some more.

I just wanted to let everyone know it was the throttle position sensor. I replaced it and have put on over 100 miles and no codes.
