Question Plans for my '94 - help

Somewhat new here... Just sold my 88 and bought a 94. A few things I've been thinking about doing and would like some feedback on:

Seats - replacing the bench seat with the single seats that come in the XLT. (bolt-in or does it need to be modded)
Tranny - Swapping auto for manual.
Leveling - It's got that nasty front end dip - new longer springs or spacers?
Engine - Any easy / cheap mods to get more power from the inline 6?
Exhaust - Something decent sounding, not too loud.

Any input would be appreciated. So many things I would like to do, don't know where to start.

welcome to the site, I can't help you with everything but,

Leveling it would totally be your call. Its about the same price either way, and both easy to do. The only potential positive of the spacers is if you plan to put a suspension lift on they can be reused where the springs can't, so you would have to get spacers later. But it depends on your plans.

The best engine mods that you can probably get for the price would be exhaust (full system), intake. I don't know about the cat(s) on the I-6 but they are REALLY restrictive on the 5.0's. There is also a guy on here, PJF who has a great build thread of an Eddie Bauer I6 that you might be able to get some ideas from, (although most of what is on that thread does not fall into the cheap/easy category). You might just want to shoot him a PM and ask for some ideas.

Check with some of the other guys with I6's about exhaust. I know Gibson makes a pretty good system for 6 cyl's... a lot of jeep guys I know run it, and I hear they redid their mufflers recently, they are suposed to be pretty decent.

Good luck, post pics of whatever you get into!
