I found this spring under the front bumper of my 92 150. The truck was in my driveway close to the garage, so I know it fell out of my truck. Plus, the color is the same.
It's been bent and shiny on a couple of the coils.

Everything seems to be working as usual, It's not greasy/oily. The hood latch works fine.

Any ideas are appreciated. Shawn

 

Someone might have used it as a body shim. It doesn't look like anything that belongs on a '92-96 truck.
