Shifter Arm Question
I have a 87 F150 4.9L Manual 4spd with the granny low. The sticker on the door says that the trans is a "A" and the axle is "19".
I need to know how to get the shifter arm removed so I can drop the trans to fix the clutch. Here is a pic of what I have.....

I'm assuming that the 2 things holding it on unscrew somehow....but the edges are smooth and there is no slot for any type of screw driver or such....
any help?

Really that easy? So the pins on each side don't hold anything?
Loved the jack stand idea. Gonna change the way mine is up as soon as I get home. My front tires are still on the ground the way I have it now, but the stands sure are gonna be in the way.
