Fuel pumprelay 96 F150

Have done a search and can't seem to find what I want so here's my question.

I am trying to locate the fuel pump relay on my 1996 F-150 4.9L Inline 6 (bi-fuel). I have a box of relays & fuses under the hood near the drivers side fender, but the inside of the box is labeled with numbers 1 - 5 or so. I am wondering which one of these might be the fuel pump relay.

My fuel pump stays on instead of shutting off after a few seconds. My friend said this could be the relay. I already replaced the fuel pump because it left me stranded at the side of the road. Want to make sure the thing is reliable again before I head off down the road in it.

Thanks for the link

Guess I shouldn't have used real English when I did MY google search and I might have got that one

I'll call the dealer since all my relays are black and your link refers to green ones and brown ones.

Your 96 4.9 is NOT a V-6, it's an inline 6.

The fuel pump relay is in the engine compartment fuse box next to fuses 15 and 16.

Well I guess that shows how little I know about this truck then. Thanks for educating me.
