The brake lights wont come on unless I come to a complete stop. They don't come on when I push lightly. One mechanic said that there is a sensor but I've spent more time upside down looking under my dash than the bats in the belfry of the church have been upside down for a month of sundays and I cant see how to fix it.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

Bad BOO (Brake On/Off) switch?

 

The brake booster is becoming overactive due to a worn reaction disk. The BOO spring is still strong, so it stays off even when the booster has enough force to work. You can change the booster (it's pretty easy & quick), but some people cut the BOO spring so it's not as strong.
