I ordered a hypertech power module and cold air intake for my 1995 f150 302. How much of a difference do you think will I notice in power?

 

You'll "notice" a lot more than you'll ever measure. It's the nature of the human brain. you buy something and install it and you're convinced that it is just the feline's posterior. Take it to the drag strip and you're 0.02 quicker in the 1/4 at 0.1 MPH higher trap speed. (You won't "notice" nearly as much performance gain after you see the first timeslip)

 

i have the hypertech chip and i didnt notice anything really. its just a little bit smoother while accelerating but its not quicker than before. and throttle responce did get a little bit better but thats about it. all it does is advance the timing a little bit. and its suppose to change the shift points on electronically controlled trannies.

 

If I were to do a chip i'd go superchips. "apperently" in there 91 octane setting you can notice a diffrence(i've herd).

 

Chips for pre-97 1/2 ton trucks are useless. You can do the same thing with a socket set and a timing light. Dont buy into the hype.

Aftermarket intakes are just as uselss. Dont waste your time.
