Just a reminder to check the spring hangers on your trucks, I looked at mine on my F250 and then parked it!!

Husky spring has them in stock and will ship them anywhere (I got mine for $25 each). Most dealers will have to order them, if they can find them.

 

what exactly are we suppose to be looking for? rot? breaking? front or rear? i havent heard of any problems with them yet. mine appear to be fine. you can get them on rockauto.com too.

 

Whoops I forgot to add to look if you live in the "rust belt" mine were rusted so bad that I am not sure how the spring was supporting the weight of the truck.

 

Friends blazer mud truck always sat funny, but one day when I drove it the bang from the rear wasn't quite a right noise. Spring hanger rusted away and just bashin' away on the floor pan in the rear.
