My dad has a 1977 Super Cab Ford Truck that he is trying to fix up and he would like to find reproduction parts for his interior like a dash pad and carpet.

I have been trying to decode his VIN door plate for information so we might be able to locate these type items and more.

It has a 16 digit number that breaks down like this:

W.B. = 139
COLOR = RH or RM ( hard to read )
TYPE/G.V.W. = X150
BODY = BRH or BRM ( hard to read )
TRANS = G
AXLE = 13J

I am a new member and would appreciate any information.

R= There is not a R in this column a B would be BLUE, A = BLACK and G= GREEN.
M= Super Cab there is not an H.

AXLE = 13J
13J= 13 is Ford 3750 # CAP, Ratio is 2.75:1 NL
