My F150 "shutters" at low RPM usually around 35 MPH. For some reason tranny shifts into OD at this low speed. Is this typical for Fords? This is the first Ford truck I have owned and has only 62K miles.

Does it do it also in park at about 1800 engine RPM with serpentine belt off?

I have not tried this. The shutter seems to be from the tranny although I will try removing the s-belt as soon as the weather breaks here,

Try it in park and see if you still have it at about 1700-1800 rpm.

It does not have this problem in park at any RPM.

Is it a steady shudder or does it kinda come and go? Could be U-joint or the carrier bearing if it has one.
