Fuel mileage
I mistakenly pulled the air charge temperature sensor out rather than the ECT this afternoon. It was covered with crap. After reading about what it's responsible for doing I may have found another possible culprit for my issues. Is this a common sensor failure?
My fuel mileage is now running in the high 14's or low 15's per gallon. The warm start issue is still a problem but I have not knocked out the CATS as of yet. My other vehicle is down and out and I can only have one car down at a time. How are the CATS removed? Should I try unbolting them from the manifold or cut and splice?
Once I get this issue resolved I'd like to tackle the fuel tank issue. Any thoughts?
