I've got a clean '79 F150 2WD 302V8 which I would like to make into a NASCAR race truck look alike... Has anyone done this.. where do you start..?
I'm thinking lowering kits, fender flares, bigger wheels and tires, roll bars, wild paint...etc.
I'm looking for some pictures to inspire me...

that sounds like an awesome project. in addition to the things you mentioned already, id go with black rims, bed cover, and a badass paint job (flames or something). if i find any cool pics ill post them on here. good luck and keep us updated!
