Post bouncing/dancing speedometer?

Hey guys. Any of you had a bouncing or dancing speedo? My dips about 5 MPH every few seconds. My cruise is real fun now too :-P. I assume this is the rear end speed sensor? Am I wrong? Could it be something else?

Remove the speed sensor (small plug on top of rear diff. pumpkin) and check/clean it - make sure there are no craters or gouges in it. If this isn't the problem, then remove the rear diff. cover and examine the toothed speedo ring while turning one wheel - if there are gaps or bent teeth, then this is the problem (same problem I'm having currently). Good luck!
