Hi Guys,

We need an '81 or older truck to pull our race car. Paint and interior are not important. If the price is right I would consider something that needs engine/tranny work too. What IS important though is that it be a southern (read-RUST FREE) body. It will however need to be at least "drive able" back to the Detroit area.

I would perfer something with a 351 but will consider others.

Now for the biggie....the budget is $1500. Like I said I ain't looking for a show truck just something to tow the car that we could paint and possibly work with.

Try looking in Las Vegas area nice clean rust free trucks all over Scrap yards have excellent pool of parts. I seen an 82 step side 4x4 with I-6 a few weeks ago for $2000
Excellent shape all faded but clean and strait. Not to uncommon lots of old F-1 around.
