My 1992 F150 has a odd quirk between 31 to 35 MPH. It seems to either try and upshift or it seems to lose power then the power kicks back in. 4.9 big six and a E4OD is the drive train. The plugs, cap and rotor, plug wires were all changed out last month trying to solve the problem. The throttlebody was also cleaned. What next since the computor has no trouble codes?

What shift is this, 2-3? At gentle throttle, heavy throttle? What about the next shift, is that ok? Wondering if it is the engine rpm, engine pooping out at higher revs.
Can you get it up to higher speeds, and with some loads like up a hill?
If it only occurs at that one speed range, could be a bad spot on the Throttle Position Sensor. Could test that with a DVM with engine off by unplugging the TPS and measuring it while moving the pedal slowly. The resistance change should be nice and smooth if alright.

I should have stated that this occurs at a steady speed. The truck comes up thru the gears fine with plenty of power. I'll check the TPS for that dead spot. I have not noticed this problem at any other steady speed.
