Clutch Problem
So a couple days ago, when I engaged my clutch, it kind of stuck to the floor. I lifted it back up with my foot and it worked fine. I thought it had something to do with the extreemly cold weather we were having. Anyway, it went okay for a few days but last Thursday, another very cold day, it happened again. Now even if I pull the peddle back out it won't let me put it in gear. The truck starts up as if the clutch were in but it won't get out of neutral. I drive a 95 F150 with an I6. Anyone had this problem before and/or have any suggestions?

UrbanCowboy,
I have a similar problem on my '95. On very cold mornings my clutch sometimes sticks a little but so far I haven't needed to raise the pedal with my foot. It pops up on its own. My trouble is on those cold mornings it feels like my clutch doesn't engage until the pedal hits the floor. I checked the hydraulic fluid and needed to add a cylinder full. Then I thought the problem was fixed because it worked great for about two weeks. Just the other day, after I hadn't run it for a couple of days, the hydraulic fluid was low again. This happens all at once. There is no warning. When this hydraulic fluid (Dot 3 brake fluid)gets low, it is very hard to get the transmission into gear. I can't find any leaks in the hydraulic line going from the master cylinder to the tranny, but I think I am losing fluid somewhere. Have you fixed your problem yet? If not, you may look into this.
