Leveling Kits?
I have a 1990 F-150 4x4, so far with no suspension mods. I want to put 32x11.5" muds on, but the front end droops down a bit as is the case with many trucks. For one thing, I don't like the way it looks and for another, if I put 32" tires on, it will be quite a close fit in the front I believe. I've heard of leveling kits and other things you can do to correct this problem, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm trying to find something somewhat affordable, but I don't want to cut any corners. Any help would be appreciated!
My opinion is to get yourself another set of coils. I have heard about spacers, but I wouldn't trust them. I would think a set of new springs would be really cheap. You may want to get a bit taller coils too, so you can fit 32's. Everyone has told me that 31's are the largest fit on a orig 4x4 F-150 without a lift. I have 31's now with no rubbing so far.

i got a pair of 1 1/2" lift springs from rough country-heckthorn offroad for my '90. now front and rear look perfectly level, i have 31's on it that rub the sway bars, but i have factory chrome dodge rims on it and they could have a different offset. the springs were about $120, and expect to pay $100 plus if you have the dealer align it, must be aligned after springs are installed.
Thanks for the suggestions. I went to a tire place and they quoted me around $250 for new front coil springs, alignment, labor, and the whole deal. I think that's what I'll end up doing. I was thining about a lift, maybe, but I think I'll save my money, wait til I graduate college, then get myself a brand new F-150 and make that my dream truck come true!

guys i had 31's on my two wheeler and it wasn't anywhere near rubbing. with the 33's i have now they would probably have fit if it wasn't for the bumper. Maybe i lucked out and got a higher one.
