300 I-6 Header
Does anyone have this header on a fuel injected engine? I am thinking about getting one, but am skeptical about it. I am wondering what I would do with my oxygen sensor. I know I could easily drill and tap a hole for it in the header, but would the different flow rate cause different readings, and possibly just screw up the computer more? If there is more air rushing by, could the computer be reading lean, and try to richen the mixture. This would probably do more harm than good I would think. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Stock header?
This means that using something from clifford would be a waste of money? Thats always good to know. How do you know this? I believe you on it, just I am always looking for places to get info on my truck and engine. I am trying to squeeze everything out of it I can, and still keep it emissions legal. I still have 14 years before it won't have to go through anymore, and the truck will probably be up to 500,000 miles by then. Hmmm, half way to a million.

I had a '92 and wife had a '96, that's how I know. I believe Ford started building these engines with a header setup around the '80 model year, not for sure. The factory header setup on my two pickups was very similar to Clifford's. I would get an FIPK and cat-back and leave things at that. Best prices I've found are at http://www.gocoastal.com they handle Gibson and K&N. Cat-back from them is $279 and FIPK is $122.13.
