yes 18 degrees. its not for everyday use. its what alot of the guys with stock 5.0 mustangs set there timing at to get a little more horses out of them for the strip.

Hey, I'm back...

I'm in the process of getting the heads off of my truck to bring em to the shop to have em cleaned up and such, since I'm just gonna go with the heads that came with the truck. Now,am i going to have trouble with my EFI if i have anywork done to them? and if i won't have trouble, what sort of work should i have done for what i want? (pulling/offroading)

Why controversy about what is acceptable BTDC set?

I'm Really hopeing for a rebuttal from Matt, to somehow explain how I've been running at 17 BTDC for the last 3-4 mos. w/a stock coil & 87 octane, & no ping! (Not without some preps and mods)
