Im trying to change the Shiftining boot in my truck but dont know how to get the old on off and new one off. Its a floor mount manual transmission.

 

It should be the same as my '88. There is a screw in each corner or the boot, philips head if I remember right. Pull up the accordion type rubber material on one corner to expose the screw on that corner and take the appropriate screwdriver and unscrew that screw. Repeat on all four corners. Then the boot should lift up.
