how many quarts of earl

sorry i had no time to search,how many quarts of oil does a 96 302 hold? i was told 8 but that seems crazy, my 87 held 7

Earl does rock, not sure how much oil he put in his El Camino, but a Ford 302/5.0L should take 6 quarts.

As far as I know, they all held 5. The filter usually sucks up about a quart though, so it comes out to about 6 when all is said and done.

Im pretty sure my truck called for 5 quarts and when i checked it it was down a quart so i would say 6 quarts.

All '80-96 FS truck gas engines take ~6qts. with a new filter, but read this:
