Original Stereo

The light which shows the channel on my original stereo does not light or is dimly lit. Is there a fix like doing the bulb change for the dash lights or is this an internal light problem. This is on a 1992 ford f-150

Radio removal and bulb replacement worked!

I appreciate the replies especially from Steve83. Excellent information on radio removal and bulb replacement. Worked like a charm and only cost me $7.00 for the radio removal tool plus bulbs! The only problem was the 24 bulb did not fit into hole for the reflector and so I had to return bulbs for 74 bulbs. Otherwise no problems.
