Hey, I was looking into 33's a while back, for the 92-96 you'd have to go with a leveling kit, at least, to fit in 33's. Makes the front just as high as the back and gives you the clearance you need if you don't want to have to trim anything. That's my take on it anyway, they aren't too expensive but if you are thinking 33's you might want to spend the extra $$ for a full lift and give them even more clearance for off roading and such. Later.

Well I suppose it depends on what you want to do with your truck. I didn't notice it was a 2wd, so a suspension lift for more durability under off-road conditions might be more than you need. Body lifts are a lot less expensive and basically just lift the body off the suspension a bit to free up more room for tires, just might be the ticket. Though a leveling kit does fall under that category, it still isn't that much more money not only to level your truck but give it all a little lift up. I have heard good things about rough country and tuff country. I think skyjacker has a body lift section, but I have heard some mixed reviews on them. Otherwise, if you do want to get a suspension lift for more articulation and better handling they are more expensive, but it does offer a different feel when you're done. BDS is supposedly very good, also tuff country and procomp are very nice.

Though I'm sure you'll here different stories from different people, just what I have heard. I'm going for the tuff country lift kit soon, mostly because it comes with a great warranty through a local shop that includes labor if something breaks. Any of those options will allow for 33's no problem.

Howdy and welcome!

'87-'96 4x4 F-150/Bronco's will fit 33s up front no lift or trimming if you space out the front bumper with some washers for clearance. '80-'86's are lucky with fittin' 33s no mods at all.

Gives a good stuffed look I think.

For a 4x2 I'm not to sure as that ain't my area, but I'd imagine you'd have to either go with something to raise the front a bit.

I have a 95' f-150 with a 3" rough country lift and 33x12.5. The tires fit no problem in the wheel wells but they are hitting the radius arms. The kit comes with the drop down axle brackets for the twin traction beams(TTB). This is supposed to keep the factory alignment but it did need alignment afterwards. The kit also didn't come with drop down radius arm brackets which puts the TTB pivot points at a small angle. I didn't notice any problems at first, but after some banging around on the rough roads; the axle bushings are getting warn out and the radius arm bushings are wearing out sooner than I think they should. I'm currently working on frabricating drop down radius arm brackets to fix this. Over all, it's not a bad product for the price ( ~$180 I think). I know that the Rough Country 4" lift comes with drop down brackets, pitman, springs sometimes shocks and steering stabilizers for $500 when there is a sell. My truck is 4wd and I had a 95' f150 2wd with the TTB so I am speculating that you have the same.

another quick thing, I have been told that a body lift with the manual trans puts the trans and linkages out of line and should't be done. This is just "hear say" and if anyone has more info on this it would help me out as well.
