Oops...its an F-250....Just wondering if anyone knows anything to look out for on these models. Buddy bought on out of excitment and wants me to go look at it, and I'd like to know what especially to look at for these. The body is straight, and it has 72 k miles.

 

Not sure if it's 72k, or 172k, but it runs really well. The carb needs major tuning. It stalls if you don't give it gas for the first minute or so, but then it runs fine. Dramatic idle rev, but sounds excellent. LOTS of power, way faster than my truck. 2WD, used for sure. But I think it was a decent steal for 1000 bucks. I would have paid less, but for that power and the fun he can have it's worth it.
Just wondering what anyone thinks we could take special intrest in so there aren't to many surpises later on.
