More power wanted out of 95 4.9

i just bought this truck and it only has 80,000 miles on it and the engine runs like a song, no problems. I know this truck is no speed demon but i was wondering if anyone knew how to get a little more power out of it?

Its 2 wheel drive with a five speed if that makes any difference

High flow exhaust, K&N filter, and Gears!!!!

K&N filter, 3.55 diff gears, 3" in / out cat and flowmaster muffler and carry the exhaust all the way back with 3" exaust tube (single exhaust tube). This will give you a little more power but it will feel like alot more. better MPG. And sounds cool too......

Also insulate the intake hoses & air filter box as described in the RESULTS pages of Project MPG.

put some 3.73's in the rear (if you like decent mpg) or put 4.10's (if you wanna haul some a$$)

There are some long tube headers you can grab for your truck, also you could look into a cam to put in...i'm going with the comp 260h but with the EFI on your truck you'll need a new tune for your computer and that gets pricey...i'm running a carb and just bought a Road Demon Jr. 525cfm carb....soon to get the new intake.

There's plenty more, i just never read up on the fuel injected 4.9....go to http://fordsix.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2 to find all the info you need on our engines.

they're not long tubes, but they're still nice cause they got the efi fitings and everything.
