i'm looking at buying a 1975 f-250, the body is in excellent condition for that age, it is a 4spd w/ granny gear, 2wd, egine code is Y = 360ci, but i want the truck for some semi-serious towing (8,500lb tractor + 20ft gooseneck trailer) it's got 4.10 dana LSD rear end and 4-Speed New Process 435 transmission, (the max distance it would tow it would be 20mi away), i could always put different gears in, but im not sure if the truck frame could handle it. any input is appreciated
